Like here, it's supremely silly to shoot a bunch of video clips at an event, and then WAIT to edit those clips on a laptop or desktop later. Just drop them into an editing app on your phone, and get that stuff done!

TL;DR: Shutdown the device, then plug in the USB stick. For example, if one wants to boot from a USB stick. 
Press the little hole on the right-hand side of the device with a SIM eject pin, and voilà! The boot menu is available. Cheers!
