Less than 2% of England's health system costs are spent on administration, so the abolition of NHS England & Streeting's move on streamlining management may in the end not only be costly in redundancy payments they may also be costly in management functionality.
Like all sectors, the NHS has its share of bad managers, but you cannot run a large organisation without effective management; reducing numbers with too little thought about function will be disastrous.

Since 2015/16 the Public Health Grant to local authorities has fallen by 26% per person (worse in some deprived areas), halting or limiting pubic health interventions in many areas of health!
A serious health strategy would rebuild this provision!
